Melania Trump misses stepdaughter Tiffany’s baby shower to spend weekend with Barron amid family feud rumours

Melania Trump skipping Tiffany’s baby shower hosted by Ivanka in Miami points to family tensions among Trump women.

The Trump family has once again found itself under scrutiny, this time due to rising tensions among the women in the president’s orbit. In April, Tiffany Trump celebrated her baby shower in Miami, but noticeably absent from the event was her stepmother, First Lady Melania Trump.

The shower, hosted by Ivanka Trump, drew several Trump family members, including Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples, and other significant others such as Lara Trump and Bettina Anderson. However, Melania’s decision to skip the gathering has reignited speculation about a longstanding distance between her and Tiffany.

“There wasn’t any reason for Melania to attend,” a Florida-based source told PEOPLE. “She has her own schedule, even on weekends.” The source confirmed Melania spent the weekend with her son Barron Trump instead.

Tiffany, who is expecting her first child with husband Michael Boulos, revealed that they are having a boy during the Peter Rabbit-themed event. Marla Maples shared photos on Instagram, writing, “Thank you, Ivanka, for hosting such a stunning and heartfelt gathering — a memory we’ll cherish forever.”

The celebration highlighted the close relationship between Ivanka and Tiffany, contrasting with Melania’s recurring absences from Trump family events.

President Donald Trump was also in Miami during the event but did not attend. Instead, he spent the weekend hosting fundraisers and golfing at Mar-a-Lago.
