RAWALPINDI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder's focal person Niazullah Niazi has said that the Adiala Jail administration has refused to allow visitors to meet Imran Khan on Thursday despite a court order.

Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail, he said that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) verdict is not being implemented as the jail administration denied access to the PTI leader. He added that the kiosk in-charge at Adiala Jail had blocked Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Ahmed Bhacher and Hamid Raza from reaching the facility.

Niazi also mentioned that the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) had directed the jail administration to allow Imran Khan's sisters to meet him, but the order was not followed.

A day earlier, PTI secretary Salman Akram Raja submitted two requisitions to the superintendent of Adiala Jail, requesting meetings for the family members and friends.
