Men's, women's, mixed doubles contests to be held in 3-day event

The Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF) is thrilled to announce the commencement of the National Padel Championship 2025 which begins today at Padelverse in Karachi amid fanfare and excitement.

The three-day championship, which will be played from April 11-13, is being organized under the esteemed umbrella of the International Padel Federation and Padel-Asia, marking it a significant milestone for the sport in Pakistan.

The championship will feature intense competition across three categories including mens doubles (36 teams), women's doubles (8 teams) and mixed doubles (14 teams).

The matches will begin at 11:00am on the opening day, with the inaugural ceremony scheduled for 3:00pm. The event will run daily from 11:00am to 9:00pm, offering fans and enthusiasts an action-packed spectacle of Pakistan's finest padel talent.

This championship holds special significance as the PPF will select the national team from the participating players who will represent Pakistan at the Asian Padel Championship 2025 in Saudi Arabia this October.

The PPF has announced an impressive prize pool including cash prizes worth up to PKR 1 million besides trophies, certificates, and shields for winners and runners-up.

Also, a further incentive has been announced by the PPF who will grant free 6-month national padel licenses for all participants.

Additionally, the federation has launched a National Padel Ranking System a groundbreaking initiative to formalize player rankings and foster competitive growth in Pakistan.
