The metropolitan city is increasingly becoming unsafe for women, especially young girls, amid an alarming rise in harassment and eve teasing cases.
In the latest incident, a motorcyclist harassed a 14-year-old girl in Sherpao Colony. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the area, which reveals how the pervert made lewd gestures at the young girl before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred in Sherpao Colony, Sector F-1, of Quaidabad, where the ribald motorcyclist attempted to grab the girl as she walked through the street, causing her to become frightened.
SHO of Quaidabad police station stated that they have registered a case on the complaint of the victim's father, and an investigation is underway. He assured that the accused would be arrested soon.
