The Regional Committee on Educational Remission for prisoners has forwarded the cases regarding five 'Taalimul Quran' courses and one Urdu writing course to the head office for approval.
All five prisoners were recommended for remission based on their successful completion of the required educational programs.
DIG Saeed Ullah Gondal stressed the importance of enhancing educational opportunities for prisoners, urging superintendents to improve the academic infrastructure in their facilities.
He also instructed all prison heads to submit educational remission cases promptly.
