It Ends With Us co-star Adam Mondschein disputes Blake Lively’s birth scene claims in Baldoni lawsuit

Actor Adam Mondschein challenges Blake Lively’s lawsuit claims about birth scene conduct on It Ends With Us set.

Adam Mondschein, who appeared in It Ends With Us alongside Blake Lively, has pushed back on the actress’s depiction of events in her sexual harassment lawsuit against director Justin Baldoni. Speaking exclusively to Page Six, Mondschein said his experience on set differed significantly from the claims made by Lively — especially regarding a birth scene she described as invasive and humiliating.

Lively filed the lawsuit after accusing Baldoni of inappropriate behavior on set. In both her original and amended complaints, she alleged that the film’s birth scene lacked proper oversight and professionalism. She claimed Baldoni cast a close friend — Mondschein — as her on-screen OBGYN, placing him in intimate proximity during a moment she described as “nearly nude” and “humiliating.”

Mondschein, however, refuted the claims. He stated that Lively’s costume included a full hospital gown, black shorts, and a torso-covering prosthetic to simulate pregnancy, along with any personal garments she chose to wear.

He also emphasized that Lively never expressed discomfort or raised any concerns during the filming process, describing the experience as “entirely professional.”

In response to implications about his qualifications, Mondschein noted that he holds a master’s degree in fine arts and has a substantial acting résumé. He took offense to Lively’s insinuation that he was unqualified and clarified that he was, in fact, a local hire — covering his own travel and living expenses.

Mondschein added that he is prepared to testify in court if called during the trial scheduled for March 2026, and said he will speak “truthfully, and more freely” under legal protection.

Lively’s representatives declined to respond to Mondschein’s comments, referring instead to the claims already detailed in her lawsuit.
