The Mominabad police arrested a group of five alleged gangsters and recovered arms, stolen mobile phones, cash, and two motorcycles from their possession.
The police disclosed the names of the arrested accused as Shahbaz Tahir, Shan Shahid, Armaan Liaquat, Ahmed Rehmat and Tajuddin Mukhtiar. Two of the accused are habitual criminals and have been arrested and jailed in 10 cases in the past.
The police said that the accused had robbed a citizen Muhammad Murad at gunpoint and fled. The police on patrol, received the information, promptly pursued and arrested all five accused, riding two motorcycles.
The accused revealed that they have committed crimes in several areas.
