Tom Cruise is back with more heart-stopping stunts in the latest trailer for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

The highly anticipated film, set to hit theaters on May 23, promises to deliver another thrilling chapter in the Mission: Impossible series, which has become known for its jaw-dropping action sequences.

This installment could mark the end of Cruise’s iconic role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, as The Final Reckoning is expected to wrap up the storylines that have been unfolding over the course of eight films. The previous film, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning (2023), left Ethan racing against time to prevent a rogue AI program, known as The Entity, from falling into the wrong hands—a plot that will continue in this final chapter.

Earlier on sunday Cruise took to instagram making the announcement,"New trailer tomorrow", for the trailer.

Cruise isn’t alone in the latest Mission: Impossible installment. The film also stars Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, and Esai Morales, with new faces including Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham and Nick Offerman. The film promises intense action, with Cruise hinting at several breathtaking sequences, including an underwater submarine stunt and an infamous scene where he dangles from an upside-down plane.

In an interview with Empire, Cruise revealed the challenges he faced during the stunt, sharing that he trained extensively to handle the extreme conditions, including how to breathe while dangling from the plane at over 120 mph. “There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit,” he admitted.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning promises to be a thrilling conclusion to one of the most iconic action franchises in film history.
