
A series of traffic accidents across the city claimed the lives of three people and left three others injured.
A speeding car lost control near Hawke's Bay Fish Chowk and overturned, resulting in one fatality and three injuries. Edhi officials identified the deceased as 25-year-old Bilal, while the injured were identified as eight-year-old Rehan, 32-year-old Salam, and 30-year-old Abrar.
In a separate incident on the Super Highway, a collision between a Suzuki pickup and a truck critically injured one person. The injured man, identified as 25-year-old Rashid, was rushed to Jinnah Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Chhipa officials confirmed Rashid was the driver of the Suzuki pickup.
Moreover, a motorcyclist was crushed by a trailer near Steel Mill Chowrangi. He passed away en route the hospital. The deceased, identified as 28-year-old Farhan, was later confirmed dead. Police apprehended the trailer driver and seized the vehicle.
Meanwhile, Governor Kamran Tessori has announced that he will invite individuals affected by traffic accidents in the city to the Governor's House on April 12. He stated that they will be provided with 80-yard plots.
