Pakistani actor Anmol Baloch has officially broken her silence, and no, it wasn't with a wedding announcement. The Iqtidar star took to Instagram to address the persistent buzz surrounding her supposed marriage, finally putting weeks of speculation to rest.

In a candid Instagram story, Anmol denied the rumours, stating she is not married. "When the time comes, I'll share it myself with my fans and industry people," she promised before continuing, "These rumours are fake. Please, don't believe everything you see online." The actor thanked everyone for their continued love and support but made it clear that, for now, the wedding bells are purely imagined.

Speculation began after Anmol's name popped up during a morning show segment, where host Nida Yasir was congratulating recently married celebrities in a recent eid special show. While listing off names, Yasir mentioned Anmol, prompting singer Falak Shabbir to chime in with congratulations. That offhand moment quickly snowballed into a full-blown media frenzy, with fans convinced that the actor had secretly tied the knot.

Adding fuel to the fire, various reports began claiming that Anmol was set to wed in 2025. Her rumoured groom was Umair Baig, a millionaire businessman and the son of a prominent former minister. According to social media chatter, Baig is also the director of the Baig Group, and the couple was allegedly planning a quiet, elegant ceremony. The rumours, however, were never backed by a credible source.

The chatter intensified amid a wave of celebrity weddings, with stars like Mawra Hocane, Neelam Muneer, and Kubra Khan making headlines for their love lives. Fans began to wonder if Anmol was next, possibly set to drop a surprise wedding post like Mawra and Ameer Gilani.

In an interview last year the actor urged women to be financially independent, regardless of their family backgrounds or marital status.

"No matter who your parents are, no matter who you marry - a woman should be financially independent," Anmol asserted.

The star didn't mince words about the harsh realities women face. "You're already facing so many challenges in life. If you take comfort in knowing that you have a husband providing you with food and shelter, you start to take it for granted. If you're getting abused or mentally tortured, this prevents you from taking a stand for yourself."
