US President Donald Trump shared a controversial video on Friday, purportedly showing the deaths of dozens of Houthi fighters following an American airstrike in Yemen.

The black-and-white footage, posted on Trump's Truth Social network and other social media platforms, was captioned with the comment "oops."

The video, resembling footage captured by military drones or loitering aircraft, shows several dozen human figures from a near-vertical angle. "These Houthis gathered for instructions on an attack," Trump wrote in the accompanying text, using an alternate spelling for the Yemeni rebel group.

The video depicts a group of people, arranged in a loose oval formation along a road, with a gun camera-style crosshair superimposed on the scene. Moments later, a bright flash appears at the center, followed by a plume of smoke.

The footage then shifts to a wider view, showing a column of smoke rising from the apparent impact site, with several vehicles parked further along the road.

A closer shot shows a large crater at the point of impact, though no bodies are clearly visible. "Oops, there will be no attack by these Houthis," Trump commented. "They will never sink our ships again!"

The video comes amid a series of U.S. raids on Yemen in recent weeks, which have been conducted in response to Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping.
