Karachi is expected to experience hot and dry weather conditions, as continental air continues to dominate the region.
Temperatures are predicted to remain above average, making the weather feel warmer than usual.
On Saturday, the city expierenced sunny conditions, with temperatures reaching around 39°C. The high humidity levels contributed to the overall discomfort.
Residents should expect temperatures between 38°C and 40°C throughout the day, with some cooling during the evening.
The same weather pattern will continue on Sunday, with temperatures once again hovering around 39°C. The dry conditions will persist, and high humidity is expected to remain, making it feel warmer than the recorded temperature.
This extended period of heat will likely lead to increased discomfort for those spending time outdoors.
By Monday, Karachi will still be under the influence of the hot and dry weather, with temperatures reaching 39-40°C. The weather will remain mostly sunny, providing little relief from the ongoing heatwave.
During the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across most of the country, with significant heat in the plains. The highest recorded temperatures were in Mithi (43°C), Turbat (42°C), Lasbela and Chhor (41°C), and Nokundi (40°C).
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours. Those going outdoors should take necessary precautions, such as wearing light clothing, using sunscreen, and seeking shade whenever possible.
