Rapper Eminem, 51, is officially a grandfather. His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, 29, and her husband Evan McClintock have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock.

The announcement was made via Instagram, where Scott shared a photo of her newborn alongside a sign displaying his full name and birthdate: March 14, 2025.

The baby’s middle name, Marshall, is a heartfelt tribute to Eminem, whose full name is Marshall Mathers. In her caption, Scott wrote, “happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e 🤍,” marking the milestone moment.

Scott, an influencer and podcast host, spoke about her excitement during a recent episode of Just a Little Shady before giving birth, calling her soon-to-be son her “dream podcast guest.” She shared her anticipation about meeting her baby, saying, “I can't even wrap my head around it… What’s he gonna look like? What’s his personality gonna be?”

Though she kept much of her pregnancy private, Scott and McClintock had shared glimpses of their journey, including a nursery tour in October and a gender reveal in November.

Eminem, known for songs like Lose Yourself and Houdini, also expressed his joy in a 2024 music video for his song Temporary. The video concluded with Hailie giving him a “Grandpa” jersey and sonogram, capturing his emotional reaction.

The rapper has long credited fatherhood with transforming his life. In a 2001 interview, Eminem said becoming a dad was a “real wakeup call,” adding, “Everything that I am doing right now is for Hailie.”

Now, the next chapter begins with his first grandchild.
