Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has been the subject of much speculation regarding his personal life, particularly after his recent divorce from Dhanashree Verma.
The buzz intensified when Chahal was spotted with RJ Mahvash, an Instagram celebrity, at the ICC Champions Trophy final, prompting rumours about their relationship.
The rumours grew stronger after Chahal and Dhanashree Verma, who had been married for five years, were granted a divorce by a family court in Mumbai last month.
However, Mahvash has now addressed the rumors, confirming that she is single and has no romantic involvement with Chahal. In a recent podcast, Mahvash shared her views on relationships, making it clear that she does not engage in casual dating.
"I am very much single, and I don't understand the concept of marriage in today's time," Mahvash said, elaborating on her perspective. "I am someone who would date only when I have to marry. I don't go on casual dates because I will only date someone I want to get married to. I am that person, like in the film Dhoom, who sees his wife and kids behind the bike."
Mahvash further explained, "Shaadi ka concept samajh nahi aa raha hai (I don't understand the concept of marriage), so I have put a halt to it."
In a personal revelation, Mahvash disclosed that she was once engaged at the age of 19 but ended the relationship at 21.
Reflecting on her upbringing in Aligarh, she shared, "Growing up in a small town like Aligarh, our only conditioning was that we needed to find a good husband and get married. That used to be our goal."
