As Muslims across the country celebrated Eidul Fitr, sweets reclaimed their traditional place at the heart of Eid festivities, bringing joy and delight to people of all ages.

From traditional mithai like gulab jamun and barfi to modern creations, sweet treats and dishes are an integral part of Eid celebrations.

Sweets are a star attraction of Eid celebrations, captivating the hearts and tantalising the taste buds of people from all walks of life, regardless of age or background. From young children to elderly grandparents, everyone indulges in sweet treats, savouring its elating flavours and different textures that bring immense joy and satisfaction.

Naila Seemab, a housewife, shared enthusiastically, "Eid is incomplete without sweets and I love traditional desserts like gulab jamun and barfi, but my kids are fonder of modern sweets like chocolate cake and cupcakes." She said for many, sweets are a way to share the joy of Eid with loved ones. She explained how she likes to buy sweets for family and friends on Eid.

With their colourful decorations, delicious flavours, and the joyful atmosphere they bring, sweets are unmissable at Eid gatherings.

They make the festival even more special and memorable.
