Kidnapped boy rescued

Police rescued a 10-year-old boy who had been abducted at gunpoint from the Rangpur area.
The police rescued the boy and arrested the kidnappers after efforts of seven hours and tracking with the help of communication technology.
According to officials, 10-year-old Abbas Raza was playing outside his house in the suburban area of Adda Jawana Bangla when armed men on a motorcycle kidnapped him at gunpoint.
As soon as the incident was reported, DPO Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan assigned a team under the leadership of Rangpur SHO Zeeshan Aqeel Shah to rescue the victim.
The investigation, the police tracked the kidnappers, recued the child and arrested the kidnappers.
A case was registered against the suspects and further investigations were under way.
