
President Asif Ali Zardari was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi after his health deteriorated. He was initially brought to the hospital from Nawabshah following complaints of fever and an infection, Express News reported on Tuesday.
According to reports, President Zardari underwent several medical tests, and doctors are closely monitoring his condition.
Party leaders have reassured the public, stating that President Zardari's condition has improved and he is now in better health. The situation remains under observation, and further updates are expected in the coming days, they added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reached out to President Zardari to inquire about his health amid reports of his illness, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the conversation, PM Shehbaz expressed his well wishes for President Zardari’s swift recovery. He prayed for his health, saying, “May Allah grant you a full and speedy recovery. The entire nation’s prayers are with you.”
