Case registered against cop for shooting youth

The Sohrab Goth Police have registered a case against a police officer for the fatal shooting of a young man near Gabol Chowk, late on Thursday night.
The case was filed by the victim's cousin who stated that he resides in Jamali Goth Scheme 33 and works as a driver for the Route D-7 bus.
Arshadullah explained that his cousin, Umeedullah, was caring for his mother at Insaaf Hospital.
He mentioned, on March 28, at around 4:40am, Head Constable Mumtaz Ali, who was in a Sohrab Goth police mobile, allegedly opened fire with his official weapon without provocation.
