JI demands action against illegal construction

Saifuddin Advocate, leader of the opposition in the city council and president of the JI's Public Aid Committee, has written a letter to the director general of the SBCA, demanding the authority act against illegal construction in Karachi.

He expressed concern over the growth of constructions worth trillions of rupees in the mega city and highlighted consequences including aggravated electricity, gas and water crises and aggravated sewerage and parking issues as well.
