RAWALPINDI:

The special anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday ordered the Adiala Jail superintendent to provide books to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, and arrange his telephone conversation his children before Eidul Fitr.

ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah approved two applications of the PTI founder, as he heard the case of attack on the GHQ on May 9, 2023.

The court also approved the federal police's request for the custody of the PTI protesters arrested in Rawalpindi during the protests on November 24, 2024.

The court ordered the handover of 118 accused in five cases registered at Karachi Company, Aabpara, Ramna and Kohsar police stations to the Islamabad Police.
