On the occasion of the last Friday of Ramazan, known as Jumaatul Wida, highly spiritual and grand gatherings took place at 4,000 mosques and 1,376 imambargahs across the district, under strict security measures.
Devotees, including children, the elderly, and youth, offered their Friday prayers with deep reverence and humility. After the prayers, they mingled with one another, while mosque imams and religious scholars delivered sermons focusing on the significance, importance, and benefits of the last 10 days of Ramadan.
In their sermons, they also prayed for Pakistan's progress, prosperity, and safety, while also making special prayers for the success of Palestinian Muslims.
Heavy police forces were deployed outside the mosques, with entry points to major mosques and imambargahs equipped with walk-through gates and CCTV cameras. Police patrolled the city as well.
