Country singer Scotty McCreery, an American Idol winner, recently took a light fall during a live performance, which was captured on camera and shared by the artist himself.
The incident occurred while McCreery was performing in front of a large crowd, and he tripped over a speaker on stage. In a video shared to Instagram, McCreery captioned the clip with "Stage: 1, Me: 0," showcasing the moment he walked backward, tripped, and fell. Despite the tumble, McCreery quickly got up, joking, “Who put that there?” and continued with his performance as the audience reacted with a collective gasp.
The clip continued with McCreery backstage, humorously reflecting on the moment. "I haven’t done that in a minute," he says, commenting on his fall, which he noted had landed him right on his wrist. Tour crew members also chimed in, with one person mentioning that the fall was “a little enjoyable” once they realized McCreery wasn’t hurt.
The 31-year-old singer gained national fame in 2011 when he won American Idol season 10, defeating runner-up Lauren Alaina. Since then, McCreery has built a solid career in country music, releasing six albums, including one Platinum-certified and two Gold-certified, along with multiple singles that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
