
Gold continued its upward trajectory on Friday, setting new records both locally and internationally.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs2,380, reaching Rs323,380. The price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,041, settling at Rs277,246, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
International gold prices also saw an increase on Friday, with the rate climbing to $3,074 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a rise of $22 during the day.
On Thursday, gold had already experienced a significant jump, with the price per tola increasing by Rs3,200, reaching Rs321,000.
In addition, silver prices rose by Rs30, closing at Rs3,610 per tola in Pakistan.
