50 Cent isn’t letting Floyd Mayweather’s latest flex slide. The rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday to clown the boxing champ after his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where Mayweather boasted about his real estate empire—sort of.
“I don’t know the exact number,” Mayweather admitted. “I own, right now, somewhere upwards of 100 buildings or more, I think 99% of my buildings are in New York City.”
That vague estimate was all 50 Cent needed to launch into roast mode. Posting the clip to his Instagram, the Power creator wrote, “Oh my God. If there [is a] safe to say, I should say LOL. Champ is the richest special ed student. LMAO.” He added in the comments, “Oh sh*t wait I think Champ think he own them buildings. They beating him out of the money. He saying he don’t know what he own… Somebody tell champ he just publicly said he live in NY. They will come and take 58% of any income he has.”
This is just the latest chapter in the long-running feud between the two stars. Earlier this year, 50 trolled Mayweather for praising Donald Trump, writing, “Yo you know how when you’re in school and a kid eats the crayons? Now you see what happens when they grow up. Spell BEST PRESIDENT, champ!”
Mayweather isn’t the only celebrity in 50’s sights lately. The rapper has also been publicly beefing with Big Meech and Lil Meech after the BMF co-founder linked up with Rick Ross, and he’s even thrown some jabs at Jim Jones alongside Cam’ron.
But it’s clear that when it comes to Floyd, 50 just can’t resist an opportunity to throw shade—and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
