Pakistan's ODI squad has landed in Napier for the three-match series against New Zealand, starting 29 March. Among the players are Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, and Muhammad Rizwan.
Eight players from Pakistan’s T20 squad have also joined the ODI squad in Napier as the team prepares to bounce back from a disappointing T20I series, which New Zealand clinched 4-1.
Salman Ali Agha, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah, Irfan Khan Niazi, Abrar Ahmed, Sufiyan Muqeem, Mohammad Ali, and Usman Khan have linked up with the ODI squad. Rauf and Usman have also been officially included in the 50-over squad.
Meanwhile, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Umair Bin Yousuf, Hassan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris, Abbas Afridi, Abdul Samad, and Jahandad Khan will travel back to Pakistan via Dubai. They are scheduled to depart from New Zealand tonight.
Shadab and Shaheen, in particular, have come under increased scrutiny due to a poor run of form.
Pakistan and New Zealand will play three ODIs, with the first match set for 29 March.
