Warner Bros. has unveiled the chilling full-length trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines, the sixth entry in the long-running horror franchise.

The film introduces a college student tormented by a recurring nightmare foretelling the violent demise of her family. She returns home in search of the one person who might be able to stop it—her grandmother Iris, whose dark past may hold the key to it all.

The trailer opens with a harrowing death sequence, featuring the franchise’s signature Rube Goldberg-style chain reaction. It then shifts focus to Iris, who reveals that she once had a premonition that saved lives never meant to survive. As a result, Death is now seeking to correct what went wrong, targeting her descendants who were “never supposed to exist.”

Final Destination: Bloodlines blends newcomers including Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, and Brec Bassinger, with a familiar face—Tony Todd returns as William Bludworth, marking his final appearance before his passing in 2024. His haunting words close the trailer: “Only by embracing death will it pass you by… good luck.”

Unlike previous entries, this instalment acts partially as a prequel, delving into the franchise’s roots. The connection to earlier films is reinforced when Iris gives her granddaughter a book chronicling previous disasters, including the infamous logging truck crash from Final Destination 2.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is set to release in theatres on May 16.
