Garcelle Beauvais bids farewell to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons

Garcelle Beauvais announces her exit from RHOBH, citing family commitments and new professional ventures.

Garcelle Beauvais, 58, has announced that she is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons on the show.

The actress shared the news with fans in a video posted on her Instagram on March 25, 2025, expressing that it had been “a wild ride.” Beauvais highlighted both the positive and challenging moments she experienced during her time on the show, stating, “It’s been a ride nevertheless.”

In her video, Beauvais explained that her decision to leave was motivated by a desire to spend more time with her family, particularly her sons, as her youngest is about to graduate high school. “One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys,” she shared. “Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that.” She also mentioned her son Jade’s new career and her own exciting upcoming projects, which she’s developing, producing, and acting in, though she couldn’t disclose details at this time.

Beauvais thanked everyone involved with RHOBH, including executive producer Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBC Universal, and the production teams, as well as the show's cast and crew. She also expressed her gratitude to the fans for their continued support, noting how much it meant to her.

“Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime,” she teased. Beauvais concluded with a heartfelt message to her followers: “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.”

Beauvais made history as the first Black woman to join the cast of RHOBH when she debuted in season 10, which aired in April 2020. She’s now focused on new ventures, including her production company and acting roles.
