Sydney Sweeney sparks breakup rumors after deleting photo with Jonathan Davino and reportedly living apart.

Sydney Sweeney has reignited breakup rumors with fiancé Jonathan Davino after fans noticed she deleted a kissing photo from her Instagram. The image, originally shared in a New Year’s photo carousel, showed Davino leaning in to kiss Sweeney while friends celebrated in the background, according to DeuxMoi.

Reports have also surfaced suggesting that the Euphoria star has been staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel without Davino, further fueling speculation. 

Sweeney, 27, and Davino, 41, began dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022, as confirmed by PEOPLE. In a December 2023 interview with Glamour UK, Sweeney referred to Davino as her “best friend” and expressed her desire to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. “Everyone is always so curious about who I’m with,” she said. “But I think it’s important to have something for me.”

In February 2025, TMZ reported that the couple had postponed their planned May wedding, citing conflicting schedules as the reason for the delay.

While remaining silent on the breakup rumors, Sweeney has been active on social media. She recently shared images from a luxury safari trip in Africa, featuring wildlife and moments with her close friends. Prior to that, she made a quick visit to Paris to attend Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show at Palais d’Iéna.

Neither Sweeney nor Davino has publicly addressed the speculation, but the deleted photo and reports of them living separately have intensified fan theories. As of now, the status of their engagement remains unclear.
