As The White Lotus Season 3 intensifies its drama, so does its audience.
The show’s sixth episode titled 'Denials', which aired on Sunday, March 23, garnered a series-high 4.2 million viewers across HBO and Max, according to internal data from Warner Bros. Discovery.
This marks the largest audience ever for an episode of The White Lotus on its Sunday debut night, surpassing the previous series high set by the Season 2 finale, which had 4.1 million viewers when it premiered on December 11, 2022.
The growth in viewership has been remarkable. Episode 6 saw a 75% increase in viewers compared to the Season 3 premiere, which pulled in 2.4 million viewers.
The premiere itself was already an improvement over Season 2's premiere, which had 1.5 million viewers. Episode 6's strong performance follows the trajectory of Season 3’s steady climb, with Episode 2 scoring 3.4 million viewers, equaling Episode 4’s numbers.
Though Warner Bros. Discovery has not yet released viewing figures for Episode 5, the season’s continued rise is clear.
Season 3 of The White Lotus is currently averaging over 5 million more viewers per episode than Season 2, which ended up with an impressive 15.5 million viewers per episode in the U.S. The series continues to set new global viewing records with each new episode.
Last week, The White Lotus was the most-watched title on Max both globally and in the U.S., and it dominated social media, trending in the top 10 topics on X (formerly Twitter) for 10 consecutive hours in the U.S.
In Episode 6, the show delved even deeper into the complex and controversial incest storyline between Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola), escalating the drama that began in the previous episode.
Last week’s fifth episode shocked viewers with an illicit kiss between the brothers and an intense monologue from surprise guest Sam Rockwell.

Episode 6 took things further by revealing the fallout from a chaotic full moon party, where Saxon relives a drug-filled night, a hookup with Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon), and a shocking encounter with his brother.
With the stakes higher than ever, The White Lotus has solidified itself as the must-watch show of the season, and fans are clearly eager for more. As the drama unfolds, it's no surprise that the show continues to break records, both on screen and on streaming platforms.
