Imran seeks suspension of £190m case verdict

ISLAMABAD:

A division bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will take up today (Tuesday) the petitions filed by former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi for suspension of their sentences in the £190m corruption case.

The bench will be led by the court's acting chief justice, Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and comprise Justice Muhammad Asif. Interestingly, both the judges on the bench were transferred to the capital's high court through a notification of the Ministry of Law last month respectively from the Lahore High Court (LHC) and the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
