A 15-year-old girl, Nusrat Bibi, has died due to a wrong injection administered at a clinic in Bachal Goth, Khokhrapar.
The Malir police arrested the doctor, Dr Rashid, his daughter and son-in-law, Amjad, on Monday, as they were reportedly involved in the clinic's operations.
Nusrat's father, Wahid Bakhsh, registered a case under charges of culpable homicide, negligence, and recklessness. His daughter had visited Dr Rashid for medical attention. Later, he was informed that her condition had worsened. Upon arrival, Wahid found his daughter foaming at the mouth. Police have taken the accused into custody and are verifying Dr Rashid's medical credentials.
