Justin Bieber reflected on his emotional state in a series of Instagram posts over the weekend, revealing struggles with anger and self-acceptance. The 31-year-old singer candidly admitted, “I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh,” in a caption accompanying a photo of himself with his head down.
Other images included a childhood photo, a shot of cargo shipping containers, and what appeared to be a small image of his infant son, Jack Blues.
Later that day, Bieber shared a video of himself playing music with a live band, writing, “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself becoming inauthentic.” He added that although he’s aware people are often made to feel they aren’t enough, he still struggles when he changes himself to please others.
The posts come amid growing public concern about Bieber’s mental and physical health, though many fans have praised his vulnerability and openness. Earlier this month, the pop star revealed on Instagram that he has “always felt unworthy,” despite receiving praise and love from supporters throughout his career.
Bieber was spotted out with his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Friday night during a dinner at Sushi Park in West Hollywood, appearing relaxed and healthy. The couple welcomed their son, Jack, in August 2024.
His representative previously dismissed rumors of drug use, calling the speculation “harmful.”
Despite ongoing challenges, Bieber’s recent posts suggest a commitment to self-growth and emotional honesty. As he continues to speak publicly about his inner struggles, fans and followers have shown continued support for his journey.
