Dubai has implemented significant changes to its travel restrictions and deportation laws, tightening regulations to prevent the misuse of legal loopholes.
Authorities observed that some individuals facing deportation exploited legal leniencies by citing fabricated financial liabilities, such as false debt claims, to delay or avoid removal.
In response, the Dubai government has eliminated this exemption, introducing new legislation to permanently prevent such tactics.
To strengthen enforcement, Dubai has also established a Judicial Committee responsible for overseeing deportation cases and ensuring compliance with legal rulings.
One of the key provisions, Article 12, overrides any conflicting regulations, streamlining deportation procedures. Meanwhile, Article 6 states that the committee’s rulings will be final and non-appealable, ensuring swift action.
Additionally, the Judicial Committee will reinforce the legal framework, ensuring stricter enforcement of deportation regulations.
