Dallas-based rapper Yella Beezy, born Markies Deandre Conway, has been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection to the 2020 killing of fellow rapper Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble.

Authorities allege that Conway hired Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the fatal shooting on Interstate 35E in Dallas on November 11, 2020.

According to investigators, on the day of the incident, Noble was traveling on I-35E when he was approached by a masked gunman, identified as White. Noble attempted to flee on foot but was pursued and shot multiple times.
White was arrested a month later and is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for firearm charges related to the shooting.
Conway, 33, was formally indicted by a Dallas County grand jury on March 18, 2025, on charges of capital murder while remuneration, indicating the alleged murder-for-hire nature of the crime. He was taken into custody on March 20 and is being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond.

Yella Beezy gained national recognition with his 2017 hit single "That's On Me," which charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
