The Pakistan Day military parade will take place on Sunday, March 23, albeit on a “limited scale” due to the holy month of Ramadan, Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.

Contingents from the country’s three armed forces will participate in the event. The decision to scale back the parade was made due to the ongoing month of Ramadan.

Unlike last year’s parade, which was held at Parade Avenue in Islamabad, the 2025 event is scheduled to take place at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest for the occasion, Radio Pakistan confirmed.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will also participate with a flypast, showcasing fighter jets during the event. Foreign ambassadors and other distinguished guests have been invited to attend the ceremony. On Pakistan Day, foreign dignitaries and national heroes are traditionally honoured with the country’s highest civilian awards.
