PM Shehbaz kicks off 4-day visit to Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by a high-level delegation, has departed for an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be on an official visit to Saudi Arabia from March 19 to 22, 2025.

The primary aim of the visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, enhance economic cooperation, and promote investment between the two nations.

The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, along with key federal ministers and senior officials.

During the visit, the Prime Minister is also expected to meet with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

The meeting will focus on enhancing trade, expanding partnerships in key sectors, and exploring ways to facilitate broader economic cooperation.

Discussions between the two leaders will likely include issues of mutual interest, including global and regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, as well as matters concerning the Muslim Ummah.
