Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her past relationships in a new Vanity Fair interview, making headlines by comparing ex-fiancé Brad Pitt to Prince William.
The actress, who dated Pitt from 1994 to 1997, described him as “a very intriguing character” and added, “It’s like having dated, I don’t know, Prince William or something. That’s always going to come up.”

Pitt is now in a relationship with jewellery executive Ines de Ramon following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
Paltrow also spoke about her former husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares two children. She described their current dynamic as deeply supportive, saying, “It’s not quite brother, but we are complete family… He is there for me through anything, and vice versa.” Martin is currently dating actress Dakota Johnson.

The actress briefly addressed Meghan Markle, who has been accused of modelling her lifestyle brand after Paltrow’s GOOP. Despite speculation of tension, she said, “I don’t know Meghan and Harry… I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all. I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes… I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try.”
Now married to producer Brad Falchuk, Paltrow expressed appreciation for their blended family, even revealing that Falchuk’s ex-wife, Suzanne Bukinik, recently stayed with them in Montecito during California wildfires.
“It feels much better when everybody can be together and people can let go of the more difficult, painful parts of what led to a divorce and focus on the things that led to the marriage in the first place.”
