Jeremy Boreing, co-founder of the Daily Wire, is stepping down as co-CEO to focus on creative projects, the company announced.

Boreing, who helped grow the media company from a startup into a billion-dollar brand, will remain in an advisory role while continuing to host "Daily Wire Backstage."

Caleb Robinson, the company’s founding CEO, will take over as the sole CEO. Robinson co-founded the Daily Wire in 2015 alongside Boreing and editor emeritus Ben Shapiro. The leadership transition is effective immediately.

Boreing will now dedicate his time to developing the company’s entertainment projects. His primary focus will be directing and producing The Pendragon Cycle, a TV series under the Daily Wire’s growing content division.

Over the past decade, Boreing has played a key role in expanding the Daily Wire beyond news media, spearheading the launch of its subscription streaming platform, Daily Wire+, and its children’s entertainment brand, Bentkey. He also helped establish the company’s successful e-commerce business.

Robinson and Shapiro plan to pursue further investments in 2025 to continue the company’s rapid expansion. With Boreing shifting to creative leadership, the Daily Wire is expected to double down on its original content strategy, leveraging its streaming and media assets to compete in the digital entertainment space.
