Rick Ross recently took to Instagram to share a message about making legal money, using Lil Durk’s ongoing legal troubles as an example. The Maybach Music Group mogul urged young people to learn trades like roofing and plumbing instead of getting caught up in the streets.
"It's the Biggest Boss in the game, Ricky Rozay," Ross said in his video. "How many n***as screamed 'Free Lil Durk' at that Rolling Loud? How many? Alright, now. For y'all young hustlers, y'all got to learn how to do roofing. Y'all got to learn how to lay marble floors. You got to learn how to do the plumbing. This is a multiple million dollar game, multiple million dollar game."
Ross emphasized the financial opportunities in construction and real estate, pointing out the lack of Black workers in these industries. "I'm walking up on these real estate sites, I see very few brothers that's on the roofs, that's doing the plumbing, that's doing the drywall, that's doing the electricity. It's a lot of money in that. Once again, how many people said 'Free Lil Durk' at Rolling Loud? Exactly."
Meanwhile, fans are awaiting updates on Lil Durk’s legal case, as DJ Akademiks recently claimed that the rapper has new music on the way despite his legal setbacks. "Drake's coming soon, Durk's coming soon, and YB’s getting out of jail," Akademiks shared.
While Ross continues to push for positive change, he’s still locked in his long-standing feud with 50 Cent. His recent attempt to criticize 50’s G-Unit Studios backfired, as fans mocked his claims that the project was exaggerated. However, Rozay remains focused on his message—steering the next generation toward legal success.
