The Gujar Khan police made a significant breakthrough on Monday by arresting a proclaimed offender who had been wanted in a double murder case since 2011.
According to a spokesperson for the Rawalpindi police, the accused, identified as Arshad, along with his accomplices, was involved in a deadly attack that resulted in the murder of two individuals, including a woman, and left six others seriously injured.
After the tragic incident, Arshad managed to flee the country, while 16 of his accomplices were arrested in connection with the crime over the years.
