A suspected robber was killed during a police encounter in the area of Lalian A spokesperson said four s men started firing upon seeing a police vehicle. The police team also retaliated.
One accused was killed in firing by his accomplices, while others escaped.
The deceased identified as Shahbaz, had a record in several cases.
A search operation was under way in the area to find the absconding accomplices.
