Playboi Carti has barely wrapped up the release of his third album MUSIC, yet he’s already teasing his next project. The rapper, known for his unpredictable nature, took to Instagram Friday night to not only hint at the title of his fourth album but to confirm that it’s on the way.

In a post celebrating the success of MUSIC, which features 30 tracks, Carti shared a screenshot showing all the songs charting on Apple Music and wrote, “All 30 thank you so muchhh. BABY BOI OTW” (On The Way), revealing the album's title.Carti has long been known for his enigmatic presence in the music industry, and his habit of teasing snippets of songs for years. Some of these previews have already been confirmed to appear on BABY BOI, including tracks like "SHE DON'T LEAVE" and "I DO THE MOST." The album’s title itself had been circulating earlier, dating back to a tweet from producer Lil88 in September 2024, which read, "BABY BOI OTW TOO."

For fans, the announcement of BABY BOI raises both excitement and questions. While some are thrilled by the rapid succession of new projects from one of hip hop’s most talked-about artists, others feel the early confirmation of another album resets anticipation just hours after the release of MUSIC. Nevertheless, Carti seems to be capitalizing on the excitement surrounding his latest release.

Adding fuel to the fire, Carti also posted an Instagram story referencing a popular moment from the A$AP Rocky trial. The post featured a photo of A$AP Relli pointing, echoing Kendrick Lamar's lyrics from GOOD CREDIT, a move that seems to tap into the ongoing discourse in the rap world. It appears Carti is not only building anticipation for his next album but also keeping his name in the spotlight.
