Imposter tries to influence transfer

RAWALPINDI:

A case has been registered against a suspect who allegedly posed as the Saudi ambassador and called the SSP operations. The case was filed at Civil Lines Police Station on the complaint of Head Constable Asghar Ali under Section 419 PPC and 29D of Telegraph Act.

The suspect, identified as Naveed Khan, allegedly claimed to have strong connections with senior police officials during his meeting with the head constable. The complainant allegedly sought help from the suspect with his transfer to Wah Cantt police station in January. Efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
