Abuse: Three men booked for assaulting girl

Three men were booked for sexually assaulting a young girl in Taxila area on Wednesday.

According to the police officials, a widowed woman, Hameeda Jan, who lives in Dhok Dakhli Choker, lodged a report with them, saying that Aqeel and his two accomplices had forcibly abducted her 14-year-old daughter Hajra Bibi*from her home and allegedly assaulted her.

Later, they fled after leaving her in front of the Holy Family Hospital, she said.

She told the police that she was visiting the Shah Allah Ditta village along with her other children, while her daughter was alone at
home when she was assaulted.

“The men abducted my daughter at gunpoint, after asking from the locals I found out that Aqeel and his accomplices had visited my place when I was not there,” she said.

The police registered a case against the suspected men and started investigation.
