Kim Soo Hyun responds to Kim Sae Ron's alleged text asking for more time to repay 700 Million KRW debt

Kim Sae Ron’s alleged desperate message to Kim Soo Hyun have surfaced, showing the actress pleading for more time to repay a 700 million KRW (approximately USD 483,000) debt. The debt, initially covered by Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, was incurred after her DUI incident.

The text message, reportedly sent by Sae Ron, details her financial struggles and her request for more time to repay the amount.

The message reads, “Please save me... I’m begging you. Please give me some time.” This revelation has ignited discussions, as it follows claims that Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun were romantically involved from 2015 to 2021.

"Oppa, this is Sae Ron. I received the letter of certification today, that [your company] is suing me. You said that you would give me ample time, so I’m working hard, preparing to make a comeback. I will pay you back with a percentage from each work. I’m not saying that I won’t pay you back, but if you suddenly ask for ₩700 million KRW (about $480,000 USD) right now, I really can’t do anything. It’s not that I won’t, but I can’t. Do you really have to take it as far as a lawsuit? Please save me… I beg of you. Give me some time."

The Garo Sero Institute had previously reported that the two started dating when Kim Sae Ron was just 15 and Kim Soo Hyun was 27.

In response to the allegations, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, strongly denied the claims, reiterating their stance that the relationship was never romantic. The agency stated to SPOTV on March 12, "There is no change to the official position we previously relayed.", adding that “What Garo Sero claimed about Kim Soo Hyun is clearly false” and that they were commited to taking legal action against the spread of misinformation.

Gold Medalist also refuted claims about Kim Soo Hyun’s involvement in Sae Ron’s financial issues, maintaining that the agency had only initially helped her.
