
Pakistan's exports of goods and services to the United States increased by 11.23% during the first seven months of FY2024-25 compared to the same period last year, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Total exports to the US reached $3.565 billion from July to January 2024-25, up from $3.205 billion in the corresponding months of 2023-24. On a year-on-year basis, exports rose to $547.752 million in January 2025, compared to $456.508 million in January 2024. Month-on-month, exports increased by 8.57% from $504.481 million in December 2024.
Overall, Pakistan's exports to all countries grew by 7.56%, rising from $17.826 billion to $19.175 billion during the period.
Meanwhile, imports from the US also increased by 22.63%, reaching $1.268 billion in July-January 2024-25, up from $1.034 billion in the previous year. In January 2025, imports rose to $188.310 million, compared to $139.783 million in January 2024, marking a 1.69% increase from December 2024's $185.170 million.
Pakistan's overall imports grew 10.88%, reaching $33.314 billion, up from $30.043 billion during the same period, the SBP data revealed.
