Fans developed newfound respect for singer Abdul Rehman Sajid, known professionally as Havi, after he opened up about his struggles with being his family's breadwinner, in an interview with Mubashir Hashmi. Havi admitted that he grapples with fatigue like any other person does, but he can't afford to slow down because his family depends on his income.

"Motivation is the worst thing you can get addicted to because it fluctuates," he said. "I don't earn for myself. I have five people at home. Am I going to weigh my livelihood and their stomachs against my motivation? No. I am a man, and I'm supposed to show up no matter what."

Havi confessed that he often finds himself having this inner battle. "Sometimes, I don't feel like singing or doing multiple shows in a day. I can't do it. I can't even stand. I have no motivation. All I want to do is lock myself in my room and stare at the wall for three hours. And this is a real thing."

Despite these struggles, the former Auj vocalist keeps pushing forward. "But I stand before the audience. I smile, perform, and entertain them. I must put on a show for them. Because I can't sit at home."

The Woh Raat singer shared that part of what keeps him going is facing his family every day. "They're right in front of my eyes. I can't lose for them. So eventually, you do ground yourself like this."

Before success entered his life, Havi used to wonder why he had to shoulder so much responsibility. However, over time he found meaning in his responsibilities, which is why he believes he is successful now. "I understood then that these people being dependent on me is actually a stamp of approval on my character. This is a gift from Allah."

He candidly shared that he writes in his journal to process new events because it takes him time to absorb them. Still, he has to move on quicker than he'd like. "Happiness, motivation, and all similar things are a fluke. You should never chase them. You cannot depend on them. They'll be with you one day, and the next day, they'll be gone. But your work is constant."

The singer's fans reflected on his words on social media, praising his sense of responsibility. "Relatable. More power to you, man," an Instagram user wrote. "This sums up life. You are not always motivated but you have to go to work because, in return, it brings happiness to the faces of the people you love. And that is everything!" another wrote.
