
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has unveiled exciting plans to boost Islamabad's appeal with the development of a cutting-edge food street in the heart of Blue Area, along with several other recreational and tourism-focused initiatives.
The decision was made during a high-level meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Islamabad Chief Commissioner and CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
The new food street, located in the bustling Blue Area, promises to offer a unique culinary experience to both residents and tourists. The street will showcase a blend of top-tier local and international food brands, complemented by modern infrastructure and ample parking facilitiesa notable feature in Islamabad.
The project will also include beautifully designed walkways, electric carts for elderly visitors and children, as well as cashless payment options to ensure a seamless experience.
Chairman Randhawa emphasised that the food street would be built to international standards, with advanced lighting, common seating areas, and strict health and hygiene protocols in place.
