Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has decided to introduce the ‘CM Education Card’ in a bid to promote education across the province. The scheme aims to reward high-achieving students, with those scoring over 80% marks receiving the ‘CM Eminence Star Card.’

In addition to this, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of state-of-the-art labs for matriculation and technical education. Furthermore, a pilot project will be launched in 338 schools in Lahore to offer English language speaking classes.

Addressing the state of school infrastructure, the CM set a 90-day deadline for the provision of drinking water, whitewashing, and furniture in schools.

She emphasised that improving the quality of education in Punjab is the government’s top priority. “It is essential to educate students about patriotism and the importance of adhering to ethical values,” she said.
