Honour Crime: Woman killed over suspicion

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed allegedly by his teenage brother because he suspected her character. Lundianwala police said they have registered a murder case against Haidar Ali, a resident of Chak No632-GB. The suspect, they said, fled after killing his sister, Abida Bibi. The family told the police that the boy had had several arguments with the deceased girl over her character. They said he suspected that the woman was seeing a boy in the neighbourhood.  Police said raids were underway to arrest the suspect.
